The Arab Studies Institute (ASI) produces knowledge on matters related to the Arab world and its relations. ASI serves as an umbrella organization for the independent ezine Jadaliyya and the audio-journal Status Hour. Building on in-depth coverage such as the “Roundtable on Anti-Blackness and Black-Palestinian Solidarity” and full-audio of the Black-Palestinian Solidaritypanel at the American University of Beirut, ASI recently launched the Black-Palestinian Transnational Solidarities Project to examine connections and relationships between Black and Palestinian communities and movements across their respective diasporas.
