Donkeysaddle Projects creates pieces within the realms of film, theatre, and creative non-fiction, amplifying stories of resistance and struggles for equality and liberation. In 2016, Donkeysaddle Projects launched the Land Day Tour of “There is a Field” a play by Jen Marlowe that tells the story of Aseel Asleh, a 17-year old Palestinian citizen of Israel killed by Israeli police, from the perspective of his older sister Nardeen. Donkeysaddle released a solidarity video highlighting audience of the play at several Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). In 2017, the Donkeysaddle team began a series of artistic residencies across the US.
